Why a square wave?
In documented Rife frequency engineering, waveform shape matters. A square wave carries the base frequency plus odd harmonics (3×, 5×, 7× that frequency). A pure sine is only the single tone. Triangle waves emphasize even harmonics; sawtooth spreads energy across many harmonics — a different pattern than square.
