Welcome to Rife Systems. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website rifesystems.com, the Rife Systems Research Assistant, related products and services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Rife Systems ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Educational Purpose Only
Rife Systems is an educational research platform. All content — including AI-generated responses, archive documents, peer-reviewed paper summaries, historical materials, and product information — is provided for educational, historical, and informational purposes only.
Nothing on the Service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a recommendation of any treatment, frequency, protocol, or device for any condition. The Service does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical condition or treatment decision.
You acknowledge that the historical record we curate includes documents and claims made by third parties — including Royal Raymond Rife, his contemporaries, and modern researchers — and that summarizing those documents is not an endorsement of any claim contained within them.
2. AI-Generated Content
The Research Assistant uses an AI model to retrieve passages from a curated archive and generate responses. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You must independently verify any information that matters to you before acting on it.
We make no warranty that responses are correct, current, or complete. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from your use of the Service.
3. Account Registration
To access the full Research Assistant you must create an account, verify your email address, and accept these Terms. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current information.
- Use a strong unique password and keep it confidential.
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Be at least 18 years of age, or have a legal guardian's consent.
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to provide medical advice or diagnosis to any third party.
- Scrape, mass-extract, or systematically harvest content for training models, building competing products, or commercial republication without written permission.
- Misrepresent the source of AI-generated responses or pass them off as your own original research.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or other technical measures.
- Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the Service except where expressly permitted.
- Harass, defame, or threaten Rife Systems, its founder, contributors, or other users.
- Use the Service to infringe intellectual property rights, violate any law, or for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice. We may also ban specific IP addresses or networks at our discretion.
5. Logging and Monitoring
For security, fraud prevention, and abuse mitigation, we record information about your use of the Service, including:
- IP address, user agent, device characteristics, and approximate location;
- Account events (registration, sign-in, sign-out, password changes);
- Each request to the Research Assistant, including the question asked and our response;
- Administrative actions taken by Rife Systems staff.
We may use this information to investigate violations of these Terms, comply with legal process, defend our rights, or improve the Service. We do not sell this data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Newsletter and Marketing Communications
By default, account creation includes a subscription to our product newsletter. You may opt out at any time from your account settings or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly. Transactional emails (verification, password reset, account notices) are not subject to opt-out and are required for account function.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including the curated archive structure, AI prompts, brand, design, and software, is owned by Rife Systems and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except where permitted by fair use.
Original historical documents in our archive are sourced from public-domain materials and academic literature. Citation of such sources by author and title in your own work is encouraged.
8. Products and Pricing
Rife Systems develops and sells engineered research instruments. Product availability, pricing, lead times, and specifications are subject to change. Specific terms (warranty, return policy, shipping) will be presented at the time of purchase and form part of the contract for that sale.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. RIFE SYSTEMS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIFE SYSTEMS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100), OR (b) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rife Systems from any claim, damage, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) your use of any information from the Service in a medical, clinical, or commercial context.
12. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe, in our sole judgment, that you have violated these Terms, that your account poses a security risk, or that your continued use harms the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or by an in-product notice, and continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
